Get ready, Cerus community! The CerusBrix Open 2025 fitness competition is live, pulling together athletes across all levels to tackle five powerhouse workouts.

From sprint speed to raw strength, mental toughness to agility under pressure—every workout is designed to test your grit, athleticism, and fitness versatility.

Let’s break down what’s coming:

CerusBrix Open: Speed Workout

“Sprint Showdown” • 8 minutes, 4 rounds

  • 60 seconds of as many 60‑ft sprints as you can
  • 60 seconds rest
  • Record tiebreak times in rounds 1 & 4 after 4 lengths
  • Standard: Both feet shoot behind the line and one hand touches ground to count—unless sprinting to finish

This one is pure burn: rapid, relentless, anaerobic power under fatigue.

CerusBrix Open: Endurance Workout

“Calories & Chaos” • 20‑minute cap

  • 70/60/50/40 cal row → ski → bike (by division)
  • Every 2:00, drop and do 7 burpee‑overs (bar on floor for Intermediate)
  • Equipment flows in sequence; tools set to calorie mode
  • Standard: Full range on burpees; jump both feet over the barbell

This test demands pacing genius, cardio grit, and mental toughness through transitions.

CerusBrix Open: Strength Workout

“Iron Gauntlet”

  1. Max reps – Front Squat
  2. Rest 5 min → Max reps Bench Press
  3. Rest 5 min → 60s Deadstop Deadlifts
  4. Rest 5 min → Max Strict Pull‑ups OR 60s Jumping Chest‑to‑Bar Pull‑ups

Weight varies by division. Standards are strict—full depth, locked out, no kipping or dropping.

This is size AND skill—technical lifting and body control under fatigue.

CerusBrix Open: Agility Workout

“Two-Minute Gauntlet” x2 rounds (1 min rest)

Stations in sequence:

  • Balance beam
  • Icky shuffle ladder
  • Monkey bars
  • 3 burpee-box get-overs (48″)
  • Cargo net crawl
  • Blaze Pod touch
  • Repeat in reverse

Standard: Fastest time wins. One misstep? Restart the station.

This course demands focus, coordination, and composure under pressure.
