OUR

STORY

The Cerus Fitness project was launched in 2017, based on the idea that for fitness to translate into lasting results, it must be part of an everyday lifestyle.

For a healthy and fit lifestyle to be sustainable, fitness needs to be more than workouts—it needs to bring together community and be accessible to all. It needs to provide a forum to test yourself and an opportunity to learn from your strengths and weaknesses athletically so you always have your next goal to strive for.

In October of 2017, in Loveland, CO, CerusLuv became the first obstacle course race created by Cerus, followed by the first CerusRuk race in Northern Colorado in May of 2018.

In February of 2018, Cerus launched its first fitness tool, the “Cerus Sandbag.” A versatile tool that could be used at home, in the gym, or on the go to work virtually any muscle group.

Since our first obstacle race, Cerus has had the opportunity to grow its community and influence thousands of people through world class obstacle races, community events and fitness products.

& Mission

COMMUNITY PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is simple. We make being fit fun and entertaining for the entire community. That’s because we are a part of this community and we recognize that through health and fitness, we can build a stronger community. So join us in this endeavor to build a healthier community. It starts one family at a time.

OUR MISSION

Here at Cerus Fitness our mission is to IMPACT 100,000 LIVES by providing all encompassing fitness and health SERVICES, committed to providing members of all ages, abilities and backgrounds a fun, friendly  and empowering environment. We are committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle through a convenient, clean location, state-of-the-art equipment, exciting classes, nutrition program, and empowering fitness professionals that provide an exceptional and unique value to our community. We aim to be your one stop shop for all your health and fitness needs.

OUR VALUES

EVERY PERSON- We greet every member of the gym by name. No single person who is a member is unknown and no one can enter and exit the gym without being greeted.

ALL ABILITIES- Every workout is written in a way that can be scaled from the first day off the couch to advanced athletes. Any skill which may be required in a workout is reviewed as part of the warm up.

ENGAGEMENT- All staff are required to be friendly and outgoing to all members. Be accessible and available. We are community leaders and thus must be approachable at all times. This involves spending time prior to and after classes purely to connect and engage with members who are all known by name.

KNOWLEDGE- Stay up to date with scientifically accepted training principles and practices. Specializing when needed but being generally well rounded.

LIFESTYLE- None of our programs employ a quick fix, a fad trend, or a “burn it to the ground” mentality. We believe fitness is a lifestyle and to care for our members by keeping them healthy and engaged over the long term we can do the greatest good in a sustainable way.

COMMUNITY- We seek to create an environment in which every person can connect with multiple people who care about their health and wellness in and outside of our facilities and events. The key to a sustainable lifestyle of health and wellness is being surrounded by people who share your passion and drive to improve yourself and engage in activities that are oriented around a healthy lifestyle.

POSITIVITY- A healthy relationship with fitness and wellness is critical for encouragement, engagement and a positive view of yourself. We find a way to cast a positive light on each effort to improve and never cast aspersions on someone’s current level of performance or fitness level. There is much greater good to be gained from positive affirmation than negative.
